Abstract:	在本研究當中，主要以第三代(3G)無線通訊網路為架構，實際考量無線網路中，移動裝置(Mobile host)在基地台間換手(Handoff)時，面臨頻寬變動所造成的影響，用以進行多媒體資料流的傳輸控制，確保多媒體視訊於無線網路環境下的服務品質。在研究方法上，將採用位置管理與功率偵測的方式，用以評估無線裝置所能達到的傳輸速率，配合多媒體多種速率(Multi-rate)壓縮傳送的機制，設定Base layer及Enhanced layer多媒體串流，並針對Base layer的傳輸進行預留，當可用頻寬減少時，仍能維持Base layer封包的正常接收，使播放的過程持續不被中斷。同時，為避免預留過多的資源而造成系統資源的浪費，在本系統中將配合Priority的作法，於Scheduling中調整封包傳送的加權值，讓Base layer的封包具有較低的延遲，以順利達成接續的目的。
