| Abstract: | This paper presents the per formance of a single-feed tr iangular planar inver ted-F antenna with a V-shaped slot. The proposed antenna not only shows a dual-frequency character istic but also has a wide bandwidth in the higher oper ating frequency band. The var iations of the two frequency bands of the proposed antenna with different shor ting-wall widths are studied exper imentally. The radiation character istics across the entire operating bands are also measured. Good agreement is also obtained between the simulated and experimental results. |
