Abstract:	This paper presents on-line learning of remote monitoring that integrates graphic monitoring software, LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench), and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) to construct the human-machine interface. As a result of Internet's convenient for the students to control the laboratory computer and fulfill programming exercises through remote desktop connections from their home, as well as to observe the correctness of PLC motions via webcams. For students, this approach not only overcomes the scarcity of equipment and software at home but also enables practice beyond limitation of time and location.
