Abstract:	中央政府組織再造為當前國家重要施政項目之一，刻正研議推動中。據報載行政院體育委員會已被規劃列入待裁併機關之列，受到體育界及其他愛好運動者的高度關注。然而這項決策規劃方向，對於國家整體發展之利弊為何，實須進一步加以分析。本文分從各國設置中央主管體育行政機關之概況、以及我國設置中央主管體育行政機關之必要性等層面進行分析，最後歸結設置中央體育行政機關之建議與必要性。
