Abstract:	王維素有「詩佛」之稱，何以被稱為「詩佛」?一般論詩者多是一語帶過，未有詳細討論。本文擬以〈山居秋暝〉一詩為例，實際深入詩境來探討作者詩歌的表現技巧。探討後發現：王維晚年詩歌用字處處可與佛理相呼應，充分表現出「字字禪理」的思想美，寫作技巧方面也表現了禪學「融合無礙」的精神。這種融合之美若就各聯來看包括了：（一）時空交錯之美、（二）動靜相形之美、（三）人我相諧之美及（四）情理相生之美；若就全詩來看則融合了（一）詩境、（二）畫意、（三）樂理及（四）禪趣之美。作者擅長將禪學佛理渾化於詩歌當中，使一首詩展現出多層次、多色彩的風格樣貌，有「聲」又有「色」，由此再一次證知：王維學佛參禪以臻高遠境界，「詩佛」之稱，當之無愧。
