摘要: Numerical simulation of the Cr:YSO Q-switched Cr:BeAl2O4 tunable laser is studied along the three principal axes of the Cr:YSO saturable absorber. The n1 axis has the best Q-switching performance when compared to the n2 and n3 axes. Theoretical expressions of important parameters such as the laser population inversion at various stages, the peak photon number inside the laser resonator, and the output energy and the pulsewidth of the Q-switched laser pulses are derived and used to evaluate the characteristics of the Cr:YSO Q-switched Cr:BeAl2O4 laser system.
