Title: Determinants of parents’ consideration about the information education for young children
家長對幼兒資訊教育的思考因素之調查研究

Abstract: This study focused on the determinants of parents' consideration about information education for young children, exploring their differences of individual variables on these factors. The researchers developed ‘The Determinants of Parents' Consideration about Information Education for Young Children Attitude Survey’, including five scales -parents’ information literacy, early childhood educators’ professions, the positive effect of information education, the negative effect of information technology, and the negative effect of information education. According
to the results, parents scored higher on the scales of parents’ information literacy, early childhood educators’ professions, and the positive effect of information education. These results indicated the different determinants of parents' consideration about information education for young children are significantly influenced by educational background, career, information literacy, educational costs for young children per month, and the numbers of computers at home. Parents’ attitudes could influence their consideration factors toward this questionnaire; some follow-up
interviews also conducted with selected parents and corresponding the statistical results. Finally, the suggestions for future practical implementation are provided in the study.
本研究針對台灣地區家長對於幼兒資訊教育思考因素進行調查,探討不同個人資料變項之間的差異情形。研究者自編「家長對幼兒資訊教育思考因素態度量表」問卷,內容涵蓋「家長資訊素養」、「幼教師資專業」與「資訊教育正向性」、「資訊負面認知」及「資訊教育負向性」5 個層面。研究結果顯示,家長對於幼兒資訊教育的思考因素在量表中的「家長資訊素養」、「幼教師資專業」與「資訊教育正向性」等層面之得分較高;且個人變項而言,如學歷、職業、資訊科技能力、每月幼兒教育花費及家中電腦數等因素,亦影響此態度量表不同層面之傾向;統計分析結果亦可由8 位幼兒家長的訪談資料予以證實。最後,研究者針對研究發現進行討論並提出建議作為未來相關實務之參考。
