Title:	開發數學建模的教材

Abstract:	我國中小學生在近年幾次公布的國際數理成就測驗的表現上，成績都是名列前茅，但是有一項警訊就是低興趣與低自信，此現象是數理教育學者及教師們不可忽視且責無旁貸地要從研究與教學尋求改善之道。本文想先藉由分析數學建模的內涵與九年一貫數學課程的「連結」主題之各項能力，據此從真實生活情境中取材，設計一則數學建模教學示例，配合使用教具期能引起中小學生學習興趣，提升數學學習自信與數學論證能力。另外也希望提供有心以數學建模教學來改善上述現象的老師們一個參考，使學生原本的學習過程：「老師講授--學生模仿— 練習與測驗」，改變為：「直覺--試誤--思索--猜想--證明」，這種轉變不僅切合教育部九年一貫課程綱要中所提列的教學活動型態，也是真正提升中小學生數學建模與解題能力並啟發學習數學興趣的關鍵。
