本文旨在藉由科學史探討科學本質之教學實務。首先,從檢視學生對科學的迷思與課程改革趨勢,說明科學本質融入教學的重要性。而後,介紹國內外科學教育學者對中小學教學應傳達哪些科學本質概念,以及運用科學史之教學模式。最後,以國小簡單機械單元為例,說明如何蒐集和使用科學史料傳達科學本質。 The purpose of this article was to discuss practical issues of teaching nature of science (NOS) through history. Firstly, we examined students’ misconceptions about science and the trend of curriculum reform that emphasizes the importance of teaching NOS. And then, what aspects of NOS should be taught in elementary and middle schools were discussed. A model of using history of science to convey NOS was presented. Finally, we drew on the Simple Machine unit as an example of depicting NOS through history episodes.
