摘要: 本研究調查了學生及教授對當前台灣大一物理「教」與「學」相關議題的觀感,由其意見了解台灣目前大一物理的現況,並由其意見探討相關人員的教學觀。根據此教學觀,進一步評論在真實課堂中實踐建構主義理念之可行性。
結果顯示,教授對目前的學習成效及學習態度雖均感甚不滿意,但對改進教學現況的態度卻顯得不夠積極;學生的自我評量中也坦承自己的學習態度消極而被動。在尋求改進現有課程設計的議題上,教授與學生均著眼於教材的改善,而修正現行的演講式教法,引進互動式教法的想法則被視為次要,甚至不切實際。來自教授與學生的意見均顯示,他們明確的在「教」與「學」之間畫上分隔線,認為課堂活動應以教授的知識傳授為主。這些意見暗示了「灌輸式」的學習觀仍普遍存在於台灣的大學教育相關人員觀點中,同時也凸顯出引進符合建構主義的教學於真實課堂所將面臨的阻礙及質疑。
This study investigated students' and professors' opinions of teaching and learning in university physics in Taiwan, in order to understand their perspectives of learning and teaching, and to evaluate the feasibility of implementing the notions of constructivism in physics classrooms.
Data showed that both groups were more concerned about the inappropriateness of the current teaching content design, rather than the didactic teaching approach, which lacked learning engagement. The modification of the traditional one-way delivery teaching to an interactive way of teaching is perceived as subsidiary to the issue of teaching reform. The professors seemed to be more concerned with the existing barriers than the potential strength of the implementation of an interactive teaching approach, such as group discussion.
The findings implied that a transmission view of learning still firmly exists in both the students' and physics professors' mind, which might impede the implementation of a constructivist way of teaching. Suggestions for the improvements of learning and teaching of university physics in Taiwan are also proposed.
