Abstract: 物理這一學門常給予人們深奧抽象,甚至是僅屬於少數天才怪人的貴族化形象。物理為什麼這麼難學?如何才能夠讓學生也能像我們一樣,享受著攸遊於物理知識殿堂的成就與喜悅感?這類問題受到許多人的關心,也促成許多(物理或教育)學者與教師,投身研究探討其解答,提出了許多寶貴的論述,世界各國更有許多人根據這些學習瓶頸,循求教學改進的可行途徑,而這一股物理教育革新的風潮,正迅速地擴展到各地的物理課堂中。當物理教學改革已逐漸普及的今日,作者回顧过去30 年來較關鍵的學習理論,以及國際上著名的改革計劃。隨著教學理論的演進,改革計畫的著眼點與策略也有所調整。最後,作者將闡述逐漸興起的「社會建構學習觀」,並根據此一理論對課堂改革者提出一些具體的建議。
