Abstract: Language learning strategy training has gained attention in the language learning education field for its improvement of language learning. Internet-assisted learning has shown great value in helping the learning process in different subject areas. In this study, the researcher designed an Internet-assisted learning strategy training series in a freshman English course and evaluated its effect on the students' learning process. The research was conducted with 76 freshmen in Taiwan. The results show that the Internet-assisted language learning strategy training did improve students' strategy use and their English learning motivation. Students' evaluations of the Internet-related activities are also presented and discussed.
