Abstract:	勞工安全衛生人員的概念一直是模糊的，其角色與功能也經常是衝突或混淆的。因此，本文探討我國勞工安全衛生人員的概念、角色及功能，以及影響該角色與功能的因素。結果指出我國職業分類典與勞工安全衛生法規對於勞工安全衛生人員的職業名稱及職責內涵有所差異。其次，我國勞工安全衛生人員可以扮演安全專家、安全協調者及安全管制者等三種角色。再者，影響該角色與功能的因素至少包括法律、專業協會、雇主、安全科技的發展。最後，作者指出欠缺法令的規範及雇主的安全價值，專業協會與學術界不應袖手旁觀。
