Abstract: Sulfated metal oxides (SMO) are very stable solid materials but possess superacidity after proper activation. Thy were functions in selected organic synthesis reactions. For concerning of our environment, we had explored te possibility of replacing te widely used liquid acid and acidic halide catalysts with SMO in a number of the catalysts reactions. The tested organic reactions include formylation of alkylated benzenes, cyclodhydration of diol, and methoxymethylation of alcohol.
本計畫製備包括SO4/ZrO2等五種含硫酸根的固體超強酸觸梅,來測試其在有機合成反應催化上的效用.本計畫亦藉此機會探討使用較環保和化性較穩定的此類固體超強酸,來取代工業上用途廣泛的液體強酸和含鹵化物路易氏酸的可能性。測試過的有機反應包括多甲基芳香族化合物之醛化、二醇的脫水環化、醇類的甲醇甲基化。
