Abstract: This paper presents a technique that distortion aberrations of an optical imaging system can be reduced by using spherical lenses accompanying a microlens array. This technique is implemented by putting a microlens array on the intermediate image plane in the imaging system. Our experimental result confirmed that distortion aberrations can be obviously reduced after applying our proposed techniques.
