Abstract: 本研究擬解決目前偏向理論性的課程,如「人口地理學」與「鄉村地理學」,普遍以理論引導實踐的傳統取向,試圖透過 課程參與式行動研究(Participatory Action Research, PAR),調整課程理論與行動服務學習(Action Service Learning)的 時數,導入行動教練,讓實踐與理論之間可以相互影響。從學生學習面來看,透過改變理論講述與實察的時間比例,增加 實察當中學生實際參與社區實踐的內容,使學生透過課程學習與社區基地的參與,將理論與實踐結合,翻轉過去相關課程 以理論引導實踐的傳統,將學習力與實踐力投注於社區,在培力社區的同時,也從社區學習;從教師教學面來看,教師能 批判省思教學內涵,從過程當中強化專業教學能力;從大學公共化來看,則能善盡大學社會責任,透過知識與行動交流賦 權社區,建立社區與大學資源共享的關係。學生於課程進行過程中,分為五組由各組的行動教練共同充分與社區成員互 動,參與社區事務,擬出解決社區人口老化與減少,以及隔代教養,交通壅塞問題,社區與大學關係的行動策略方案,並 透過實驗方式實踐。在學習成效上,73.6%的學生認為這樣的專家講座分享理論應用至社區實踐的案例及方法,會提高投 入課堂學習的興趣。
This study aims to solve the current curriculum bias of theory-guided practice in population geography and attempts to adjust the hours of lectures on theory and community participation in curriculum through curriculum participatory action research and action service learning, and to introduce action coaches that make students’ learning to link with social contexts and the reflection is happened in the process to achieve the social practice. This study is expected to achieve better results through participatory action research among teachers’ teaching, students’ learning and universities’ social responsibility. During the practice in semester, students were divided to 5 groups and with their tutors to participate community’s affairs. They proposed 5 projects totally to resolve problems which community was facing such as aging and reduced population, intergenerational education, traffic, the relationship between community and university. Students examined the strategies via experimentation in community at the end of the class. Regarding to the learning effects, 73.6% of students believe that workshop and practice their proposals in community realistically had enhanced indeed their leaning interests to the class.
