摘要: 本研究旨在探討國中校長社會支持與工作壓力的關係。為達研究目的,本研究採問卷調查法進行,以中部六縣市(苗栗縣、台中市、台中縣、南投縣、彰化縣、雲林縣等)146位國中校長為研究對象,研究工具為「國中校長工作經驗問卷」,以描述統計、t考驗、單因子變異數分析、Pearson積差相關及階層多元迴歸等進行統計分析。
本研究得到六項結論:1.國中校長獲得的社會支持屬於中高程度;2.國中校長感受的工作壓力屬於中低程度;3.男性國中校長獲得的實質性支持較高,但年齡、校長年資及學歷不影響社會支持;4.男性國中校長感受的上級壓力及角色期許較高,但年齡、校長年資及學歷不影響工作壓力;5.國中校長的情感性及訊息性支持與工作壓力間有負相關,但實質性支持與工作壓力間為正相關;6.實質性支持是國中校長工作壓力的最佳預測變項。

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between social support and job stress among junior high school principals. Survey data were collected from 146 junior school principals in the central area of Taiwan. The descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation, and hierarchical multiple regression were used to analyze data.
The results revealed that principals received more social support and perceived less job stress than average. Male Principals’ social support and job stress were higher than female principals. Principal’s emotional and informational support was related negatively to job stress, but there was a positive correlation between substantial support and job stress. Among those predictive variables for principals’ job stress, substantial support was the most significant predictor.
