摘要: 本研究主要目的在應用溝通式教學法及合作學習法之技巧,進行國中英語科聽、說、讀、寫全方位的學習,以取代傳統之文法翻譯講述法。本研究係研究者對所帶領的導師班級,進行有別於傳統英語教學的實驗研究,以行動研究法,依據研究目的及實際需要,去蒐集資料,並從各資料間的關係,去尋找其意義,證實教學實驗的成效。從中進行分析歸納,發現研究結果如下:

一、研究對象偏好活動型、觸覺型及團體型等學習型態
二、實驗教學法提昇研究對象的學習策略應用能力
三、實驗教學法使研究對象的學習重點改變,從考試得高分轉為應用能力的培養
四、研究對象的英語綜合運用能力之信心程度大幅提昇
五、實驗教學法的評量精神及要旨,在於多元與動態方式
六、實驗教學法讓學生明白正確的語言學習方法與觀念

根據研究結果,研究者對政府主管機關、學校行政單位、英語教師及未來研究,提出若干建議事項。
The aim of this study was to explore the effectiveness for the implementation of omni-directional whole language teaching in terms of applying both communicative teaching approach and cooperative learning, instead of traditional preaching approach in terms of grammar translation. The researcher selected her homeroom students as the experimental group using the original teaching approach. According to the purpose and the need of the study, the researcher collected a variety of information. The significant meaning was discovered by detecting and distinguishing organized data resources. It would verify the effectiveness of the experimental teaching method. The findings were as follows:
(a)The subjects preferred kinesthetic, tactile and group learning styles. (b)The subjects promoted the application of learning strategies. (c)The subjects focused on improving applied capability instead of just getting high grades of written tests. (d)The subjects increased the confidence of using skills in English. (e)The experimental teaching paid attention to adopting multiple and dynamic assessments. Additionally, (f) this approach let subjects understand further accurate language learning method and viewpoints.
