Abstract: 本研究旨在探討新移民子女家庭氣氛與生活適應之間的關係。採問卷調查法,以彰化縣公立國中278名之新移民子女為研究對象。以描述統計、單因子多變量變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關、典型相關以及多元迴歸分析等方法進行統計分析。研究結果如下:
一、新移民子女的整體家庭氣氛達中等以上程度,其中以家庭功能的表現程度最高,而家庭資源的表現最低。
二、新移民子女的整體生活適應達中等以上程度,其中以人際適應的表現程度最高,而學校適應的表現最低。
三、不同年級、母親國籍、家庭社經地位的新移民子女在家庭氣氛的表現程度上有顯著差異。
四、不同性別、年級、家庭社經地位的新移民子女在生活適應的表現程度上有顯著差異。
五、新移民子女的家庭氣氛各層面與生活適應各層面之表現狀況皆有顯著正相關。
六、新移民子女的整體家庭氣氛與整體生活適應有顯著相關。
七、新移民子女的家庭氣氛對其生活適應各層面的表現狀況具顯著預測力。
Abstract
The main purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between family atmosphere and life adjustments among new immigrants’ children. The survey data were collected from 278 new immigrants’ children in public schools of Changhua County. The descriptive statistics, one-way MANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, Canonical correlation and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. The findings were as the followings:
1. The whole of family atmosphere among the new immigrants’ children was above the average. Family function was at the top level while family resource was at the bottom one.
2. The whole of life adjustments among the new immigrants’ children was above the average. Interpersonal adjustment was at the best level while school adjustment was at the worst one.
3. There were significant differences in family atmosphere among the new immigrants’ children with different background variables, such as grade, mother’s nation, and social economic status.
4. There were significant differences in life adjustments among the new immigrants’ children with different background variables, such as gender, grade, and social economic status.
5. Each aspect of family atmosphere among the new immigrants’ children was related significantly to each aspect of their life adjustments.
6. The whole of family atmosphere among the new immigrants’ children was related significantly to the whole of their life adjustments.
7. Each aspect of life adjustments among the new immigrants’ children was predicted significantly by family atmosphere.
