Abstract: | 摘 要 本研究主要目的在探討國中學生知覺教師期望、自我效能及學業成就的現況;探討不同背景變項間的國中學生知覺教師期望、自我效能與學業成就差異情形再分析不同背景變項間的國中學生知覺教師期望、自我效能與學業成就相關情形;最後,探究國中學生知覺教師期望、自我效能對學生學業成就之預測力。 本研究採問卷調查法,以新竹縣市761名國中學生為研究對象,以描述統計、t考驗、單因數變異數分析、皮爾森積差相關及多元迴歸分析等方法進行資料統計分析。 本研究獲得結論如下:國中學生知覺教師期望、自我效能及學業成就則為中等程度。而不同性別、年級國中學生知覺教師期望未達顯著差異。但在自我效能與學業成就,因背景變項不同有顯著差異。至於國中學生之知覺教師期望、自我效能與學業成就有顯著正相關。且國中學生之知覺教師期望、自我效能對學業成就具有顯著的預測力。 本研究根據文獻分析與研究討論,對教育行政機關、學校、教師、和對家長及未來研究分別提出建議。

Abstract The main purpose of this study was to understand the relationship among students’ perception of teachers’ expectation of' junior high school students, self-efficacy and academic performance; to explore the differences on different backgrounds; to analyze the correlation among students’ perception of teachers’ expectation of' junior high school students, self-efficacy and academic performance; and to explore the prediction to the academic performance of junior high school students in students’ perception of teachers’ expectation and self-efficacy. Questionnaires were administered to a sample of 761 public junior high school students from Hsin-chu County and Hsin-chu City,Acquired data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product-moment, correlation, and multiple regression analysis methods. The results of this study include: 1. Junior high school students had a middle level of students’ perception of teachers’ expectation, self-efficacy and academic performance. 2. There was no significant difference between students’ perception of teachers’ expectation and different backgrounds of gender and grades . 3. The effect of background variables on junior high school students self-efficacy and academic performance were positively significant. 4. The correlations among students’ perception of teachers’ expectation, self-efficacy , and academic performance were positively significant. 5. Junior high school students’ students’ perception of teachers’ expectation, self-efficacy could significantly predict their academic performance.
Based on these results, this study offers related suggestions to educational administrators, junior high school teachers, parents, and further Studies.
