The purposes of the study were:(I)To probe into the connotation for sociability education.(II)To probe into the connotation for leadership of sociability education.(III) To construct educational indicators for leadership of sociability education those suit the present education. The data of the study were from literature and twice focus groups. With these data, a questionnaire for professors was designed. Five professors were invited to correct the indicators and provide suggestions.
The objects of this study were teachers and principals from Taichung County, Changhua County, and Nantou County. The members of the first focus group were eleven in all, including directors, group leaders, and homeroom teachers. The members of the second focus group were six principals in all.
The findings were to construct an evaluative checklist. Five levels were included in the checklist: (I)Strengthen the strategy for leadership of sociability education in school administration organization. (II)Promote teachers’ teaching skills in sociability education. (III)Plan curriculums and activities of sociability education for students. (IV)Conformity the development resources for leadership of sociability education in school. (V)Construct an evaluative mechanism for schools.
According to the results, the researcher presented some suggestions, and hoped it would be an important reference for the study in the future.
