Abstract: The purpose of this study was to investigate the need of community resources in Taipei City for gifted education in junior, senior high schools and vocational schools. Subjects were 52 teachers undertaking the district gifted program in Taipei City school. Instrument was self-designed questionnaire, "The need of community resources in Taipei City for gifted education. "The obtained data were analyzed by frequency distribution, Kendall coefficient of concordance, Kendall' s coefficient of rank concordance and one-way ANOVA. The main findings were as follows: 1.The needs for community resources including human power, institution, books, media, and activities between senior/vocational education and junior high education agreed. 2.In terms of fund resources, senior/vocational education and junior high education disagreed. 3.Senior/vocational education and junior high education agreed in the need sequences for community resources. What was required most was human power, the next was funds.
