Abstract:	清世的論語注本當以劉寶楠的論語正義最為完贍，包羅亦最廣，其書體例宏大，蒐羅了清中葉以前論語注疏之精義，且益以作者己義，舉凡訓詁名物之考訂、義理思想之發揮，疏義之確解，皆有可取之處。清世治學以考據見長，其意乃欲由訓詁名物之法，以窺古人著書之原意，故考據學家於經書中字義、器物、制度、地理、史事之考訂，皆最詳實，然考據之弊，又往往蔽於偏而不見其全，即過於著重一字一句的煩瑣考訂，而忽略經書義理的闡發，與歷史時代脫離關係，而未能發揮致用於世的功效。論語正義一書則能取其長而去其短，其書既具考證精詳之長，於義理的解釋上，又集結了清中葉以前的思想義理，反應了清世反理學、重實理的一貫理取向，深具時代特色。
