Abstract:	天下無無根之事，所有事物的發生都是其來有自，劇學發展亦復如是。乾隆朝的劇學，如果在中國戲劇學史上，有任何一點的成就，那也是因為有前代劇學者辛勤種的根芽，才有乾隆朝劇學者所得到的花果，更何況劇學研究與戲曲創作是互為表里的。換句話說，就是在中國的戲劇發展史上，必須要經歷明朝中葉的劇作創作高峰，才有魏良輔、李開先、何良俊、徐渭、王世貞、湯顯祖、沈、潘之恒、臧懋循、呂正成、王驥德、馮夢龍、凌初、沈寵綏、卓人月、袁于令、金圣嘆、李漁等劇學論者的出現。而乾隆朝劇學家所提出的戲曲論點，究竟有哪些是繼承和延續前人的觀點，并有更深的探討，且提出精譬見解的部分，正是本文所要研究的。
