Abstract:	本計畫為「大眾科學創意競賽及種子教師與家長之培育研究」總計畫下的子計畫：「化學篇」。我們將以化學概念為主題，設計創意實驗，讓國中小同學經由動手操作探索科學，在探索的過程中享受科學實驗的樂趣。我們期望經由探索式實驗的競賽活動，激發同學的思考力、組織力、創造力。此外更希望培養同學的合作精神，鼓勵他們藉由同儕的腦力激盪，探索解決科學問題。計畫本身為總計畫下的一個子計畫。其他子計畫尚包括：數學篇、物理科學篇、生物科學篇、生態篇。在總計畫的協調下已做到充分的橫向合作，在活動設計上互通心得，並賴遠哲基金會彰化辦公室在人力上及活動模式上作有效率的互援。今年在實質計畫執行上，我們預備以「化學反應」為一實驗主題，召集國中小學生共100 名進行基礎講習訓練。幹部及輔導員也預先完成相關科學素養的養成教育，最後完成競賽教材設計，規劃活動細節，設計競賽中各項訊息蒐集表。活動完成後，除了仍將蒐集學員行為、競賽成果、教材內容、活動流程等相關資訊進行檢討外，將特別針對實驗設計做較精緻診斷。 “Chemical Science”is one of the sub-projects of an Integral Project “The study of enhancing public citizen's creativity and fostering knowledge and skills for seed teachers and parents in science. ---chemistry” Regard chemical concept as the theme, we will design new laboratory-based experiments directing students of junior high or elementary schools to explore the science and to enjoy the fun of hand-on experience during the process. project we expect that the activity can stimulate students´ abilities and creativities for solving scientific problems. As part of this Integral project , which includes chemistry, mathamatic, physics, biology , botany etc, we have coordindated each other and developed asystem of cooperation under the guidance of the “Integral Project ”. Moreover , this project also collaborates with the Changhua Office of Y. T .Lee Foundation in many activity modules and sharing manpower. Practically, “chemistry reactions”will be the theme for the coming year. We will summon 100 students each from all junior high and elementary schools for this workshop and trained for a period of time. Instructors and tutors will be given related lectures and trainings in advances. They are responsible for designing, preparing ,and carrying out this project. A competition will be given at the end of the workshop. After competition, a detailed study of attendee´s behaviors, competition results, activity materials, and related process will be evaluated and an improved new protocol will be suggested.
