Abstract: 摘要
本研究旨在探究國民小學學生之家庭背景如何影響家庭中的資源配置與其學業成就,並探討其相關情形。本研究採問卷調查法,以叢集抽樣方式抽取中部地區六縣市33所公立國民小學四到六年級學生共989人為研究對象;以自編之「國小學生生活狀況調查問卷」為研究工具;採描述統計、單因數變異數分析、積差相關、迴歸分析等方法進行統計處理。
本研究之重要發現如下:
一、國民小學學生擁有較豐富的社會資本、文化資本其次,財務
資本偏少。
二、國民小學學生之不同種類之家庭資源間有正相關。
三、不同家庭社經地位、不同家庭結構、不同家中子女數、不同
居住地區的國民小學學生在整體家庭資源上有顯著差異。
四、除居住地區外,不同家庭背景的國民小學學生之學業成就有
顯著差異。
五、家庭資源越豐富的國民小學學生之學業成就越高。
六、家庭社經地位、家長婚姻狀況、家庭內社會資本對國民小學
學生之學業成就有顯著正向預測作用;家中子女數、居住地
區對國民小學學生之學業成就有顯著負向預測作用。

The Relationships of family background and Family Resources to Academic Achievement of Elementary School Students

Abstract

The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship of family background and family resources to academic achievement of elementary school students. A sample of 989 elementary school students in central Taiwan completed the Living Circumstances Questionnaire for Elementary School Students. Descriptive statistic, one-way MANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis were used to analyze the data.
The results of this study revealed that there were significant differences in family resources in relation to family background variables. The family background variables significantly affected academic achievement of elementary school students. There were significant correlations between family resources and academic achievement of elementary school students. The family background variables and family resources were significant predictors for students’ academic achievement.
