摘要: 臺中縣國民中學學校行政支援與學校效能關係之研究
摘要
本研究主要分析臺中縣國民中學學校行政支援與學校效能之間關係,包括瞭解學校行政支援與學校效能現況,並探討兩者之間關係。針對臺中縣國民中學學校行政支援與學校效能加以調查,探討不同的教師人口變項及學校背景變項所造成的差異情形;其次探討學校行政支援各層面與學校效能彼此之間的相關情形;最後探討學校行政支援對於學校效能的解釋力。
本研究根據文獻的基礎及論文實證研究的結果,設計學校行政支援與學校效能之關係調查問卷,以量化方式加以調查,共發出正式問卷536 份,回收474份,回收率為88.43﹪。採用平均數、標準差、t 考驗、單因子變異數分析、皮爾遜積差相關及多元迴歸分析等統計方法加以分析,進而加以討論。將本研究結論歸納如下:
一、 臺中縣各國民中學教師對於學校行政支援整體層面和學校效能整體層面的知覺,在各個施測題目的平均數皆偏高,接近「時常如此」水準,因此得知受試者對於各校學校行政支援和學校效能頗為肯定。
二、 不同教師人口變項(性別、教育程度、服務年資及擔任職務)的受試者對於學校行政支援整體層面知覺有顯著差異。在不同的教師人口變項中,男性、畢業於一般大學、年資16-25年之兼職主任及組長教師,對於學校行政支援整體層面知覺有較高的評價。
三、 服務於不同學校規模的受試者,在學校行政支援整體層面知覺上無顯著差異;而服務於不同學校位置的受試者在不同的學校背景變項中學校位置,對於學校行政支援知覺有顯著差異,鄉鎮組優於縣轄市組。
四、 不同教師人口變項(性別、教育程度、服務年資及擔任職務)的受試者,在學校效能整體層面知覺上有顯著差異。在不同的教師人口變項中,男性、畢業於一般大學、年資16-25年之兼職主任及組長教師,對於學校效能整體層面知覺有較高的評價。
五、 不同學校背景變項(學校規模及學校位置)的受試者,在學校效能整體層面知覺上無顯著差異。
六、 學校行政支援與學校效能彼此之間有顯著相關。學校行政支援與學校效能之關係學校行政支援整體層面及各層面與學校效能整體層面及各層面之間,相關係數皆達顯著水準,並呈現高度正相關。
七、 學校行政支援對於學校效能有顯著的解釋力。學校行政支援程度愈高,教師對於學校效能的知覺程度愈高。
最後根據研究發現提出數項建議,供教育行政機關、國民中學與教師未來研究之參考。

The Research On Relationship Between School Administrative Support And School Efficiency In Junior High Schools In Taichung County

Abstract

The research mainly focuses on the relationship between school administrative support and school efficiency in junior high schools in Taichung County. This research was to investigate the execution of the junior high schools about school administrative support and school efficiency. Three dimensions were addressed in the research. First, this research was to compare the differences in distinct background variations about school administrative support and school efficiency. In addition, this research was to discuss the correlation in distinct variations about the school administrative support and school efficiency. Finally, this research explored the predictions between school administrative support and school efficiency.
Based on theoretical literatures and empirical research on related subjects, an assessment tool is developed: Questionnaire - “The relationship between school administrative support and school efficiency” 536 copies of questionnaire being issued, 474 copies are collected, and the usability is 88.43%. Means, standard deviations, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, multiple stepwise regression analysis are applied for statistics and analysis of assumptions proposed in this study. After processing and analyzing these data, the results of this research are induces and presented below:
1. The perception of school administrative support and school efficiency in junior high schools in Taichung County is good and the degree is above medium.
2. The perceptions of Taichung junior high school teachers about school administrative support are apparently diverse due to different “genders, education, seniority and positions”. The teachers who “are male, graduated from university, have 16-25 years seniority and work as school administrators” have higher perception.
3. There is no significantly difference about the perceptions of Taichung junior high school teachers to school administrative support when variations are directed to “school scale”. There is significantly difference about the perceptions of Taichung junior high school teachers to school administrative support when variations are directed to “school areas”. The teachers who teach at country schools have higher perception than the ones who teach at city schools.
4. The perceptions of Taichung junior high school teachers about school efficiency are apparently diverse due to different “genders, education, seniority and positions”. The teachers who “are male, graduated from university, have 16-25 years seniority and work as school administrators” have higher perception.
5. There is no significantly difference about the perceptions of Taichung junior high school teachers to school efficiency when variations are directed to “school scale and school areas”.
6. School administrative support is significantly positive correlated to school efficiency in Taichung junior high schools.
7. There is a positive prediction between school administrative support and school efficiency of junior high schools in Taichung County. The more school administrative support the junior high schools provide, the higher perception of school efficiency the teachers have.
Several suggestions are carried in this study based upon research results and this research sets out to contribute to educational administrations, junior high schools and teachers in the future.
